Whilton Mill October 2010
Novice senior max driver on first visit to the track!! Drove some great heats including coming from grid 27 to 10th in the first! Ending up with grid 9 for the final!! Out of a strong 28 kart grid. A few people shocked with a novice at the sharp endMike was running 7th after 4 laps only to be pushed off! Not such a good end to an otherwise great day for the mlc team at whilton mill.

Sun race day saw senior Rotax driver Thomas running 3rd in the first heat and being held up, then during a move for second was pushed into the field and rejoined last eventually catching the pack and coming home 15th. Then a first corner crash in the second heat made the day hard work! Alhtough with the pace to win ending up 8th after some incidents in the heats.
There have been regular trophies for MLC Motorsport team drivers at Rye House over the last months with many personal best times and finishes, including new team member Mike Sanderson in his first ever race. After some hard work by the team on Saturday practice some real pace was found and carried through to race day, with Sanderson not only taking the novice trophy but also getting a top ten finish and passing some of the regular front runners on the way in the final.
At Kimbolton regular driver Thomas Kolasky was lapping at record pace in the July final on his Kosmic Mercury chassis, but was a victim of on track incidents that cost him a deserved podium finish.
August saw regular 177 driver Alex Kolasky find some pace, and since joining the team we have steadily improved his results, finding the right setup. Now mixing it with the front pack, he secured a 6th place finish in the final from a strong grid of 20, his highest ever finish in a final.

With three good heats from Thomas Kolasky on his new Kosmic Mercury chassis, put him on grid 4 for the main final, and with good pace to make a challenge for the win.
Although the start not going to plan and getting stuck on the outside at the dreaded first corner, 12th after the end of the first lap, the result of being on the outside of the grid. Be the end and some good driving came through to finish 7th, out of the strong 30 kart field.
Rye House February 2010
The first weekend of Febuary was the opening round of the Hoddesdon kart club championships, With MLC Motorsport drivers looking to get of to a good start. It was set to be a very interesting weekend with the weather playing its part!
Lee Murray (Senior Max)
In practice was fast early on in the wet and right on the pace and mid pack as the conditions dried, Some changes to the setup where made overnight, and a good result looked on the cards.
Heat one saw a grid seven draw, and with a slightly drying track, most of the field on dry tyres. Disaster struck only 5 metres over the start line when he was hit from behind and pushed off! After re joining was a lap down, but caught the pack to finish 12th! And was third fastest.
Another first lap incident pushed Lee off resulting in a broken Hub, Axle and wheel, ending the weekend. Which was very disappointing due to the good pace he had all weekend.
Bobby Marvin (Senior Max)
As a novice Bobby was showing great pace all weekend, faster than most of the regular drivers! And after a consistant run of heats from the back of the grid ended up with a very impressive 6th place finish in the final and the top novice award by some way.
Bobby will be one to watch once on full blue plates.
Paul Joshlin (Rotax 177)
Again Paul had consistant heats giving a 9th place grid for the final, where a first lap incident ahead collected him into the grass, but after rejoining made good progress through the field, until have to retire on the last lap. But some promising lap times are a sign that Paul will be up at the sharp end in the months to come.
